Safe-T-Grate introduced the unique Patented Wave design to Australian road grates. This design allows wheels of all descriptions to approach from any direction without fear of being trapped in the grate.

Original and unique design by an Australian for Australian road conditions. It has been an amazing success being lauded by Vicroads in some of their key works specification. This design is effective for small and large wheels while never reducing water flow, and after all isn’t that what drainage grates are really for!

Melbourne’s major roads like the M80 and bespoke infrastructure precincts like Docklands have Safe-T-Grate installed throughout, all to the Australian Standard AS 3996-2006.
